On the Fourth of July of all days, Palin's lawyer Thomas Van Flein issued a warning that his client would bring defamation claims against bloggers and media alike speculating on rumors of a criminal investigation involving the Governor.
The dark underbelly of America contains numerous warts, boils, and cancerous tumors, inflicted by that loathsome grimoire of madness that our nation has become.
Well, I'm FedUp and I'm not taking it any more!

I'm Fed Up and I'm Back!
I am your worst nightmare.
I am a Fed Up American.
I'm a self-confessed techno-utopian left-wing capitalist marketing junkie that loves to push the envelope and pioneer new horizons.
I have no fear and I LOVE a good challenge.
I strive to be number one because coming in second just means that you’re the first loser.
I am lazy to a fault and am always looking for the easier way of doing things. I dare to dream and I enjoy the extreme.
I have a soft heart but a hard hand. I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some midlevel governmental fuckhead taxing the very air that I breathe and bleed me like a gutted dear, draining me of my hard earned cash.
I don’t believe in religion, miracles or divine visions of bible characters that appear in food products or in the form of stains. I don’t believe that anyone EVER died listening to rock music or any other genre of music, except for rap – that shit sucks.
I don’t believe owning a gun makes a person a killer but why would you own a gun if you don’t plan on killing something? I don’t believe that being a minority, woman or member of any group, race or belief in fantasy should qualify you for any special treatment that other people cannot receive. And if being an illegal immigrant is illegal and we know who these people are, why are they not in jail for their illegal activity?
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, or just living in the United States, you'd better speak English motherfucker. I will never use the excuse "it's for the children" as a shield for any of my unpopular opinions or actions and as a matter of fact I think children suck. Yeah, I said it. They are pains in the ass to their parents and society and if they are to be paraded around in public they better god damned well know how to behave and interact with the public or be subject to arrest and a possible quarantine until they can act properly.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her god or gods, just leave the rest of us out of it. I don’t give a shit about what fantasyland you live in. And I sure the fuck don’t want you saving my sole.
My heroes are Anthony Robbins, Donald Trump, and whoever that guy that told Dick Cheney to go fuck himself after Katrina on CNN. I don't hate the rich, I don't pity the poor and I know wrestling is fake so shut the fuck up if I’m watching it already.
I've never owned a slave, or was a slave, I didn't wander forty years in the desert after getting chased out of Egypt, I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you, so shut the fuck up about that too.
I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches and where he gets his money from. I think the cops need to go back to law enforcement and forget about revenue enforcement and I also think they have the right to pull your ass over only if you are breaking the law, not to just harass you about not wearing a seat belt.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
I think if you are in the passing lane, and not passing, your license should be revoked, and you should be forced to ride the bus until you promise to never delay the rest of us again.
I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it only takes two reasonably intelligent and responsible parents. I don’t give a rats ass if you are a single parent and don’t want to hear that you are. You will not get my sympathy for being irresponsible enough to get knocked up without being positively sure before making the lifetime commitment to your baby daddy.
I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, pissed off or pissed on, mad, livid, annoyed, fuming, irritated or irate no matter how desperately the stupid republicunts would like everyone to believe otherwise.
And I think Dr. Seuss was a genius.
I am a proud fucking liberal and I excel in places you only dreamed of so don’t try to hurl that label at my feet, 'Liberal,' as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor. So fuck yourself.
These are just SOME of the things that make me a Fed Up American so kiss my ass if you don’t like it.

What About Perfume?
Okay, enough is fucking enough.
Source: New York Times
Parents who smoke often open a window or turn on a fan to clear the air of
second-hand smoke, but experts now have identified another smoking-related
threat to children’s health that isn’t as easy to get rid of: third-hand
smoke.
That’s the term being used to describe the invisible yet toxic brew of
gases and particles clinging to smokers’ hair and clothing, not to mention
cushions and carpeting, that lingers long after smoke has cleared from a room.
The residue includes heavy metals, carcinogens and even radioactive materials
that young children can get on their hands and ingest, especially if they’re
crawling or playing on the floor.Doctors from MassGeneral Hospital for Children
in Boston coined the term “third-hand smoke” to describe these chemicals in a
new study that focused on the risks they pose to infants and children.
The study was published in this month’s issue of the journal
Pediatrics....Third-hand smoke is what one smells when a smoker gets in an
elevator after going outside for a cigarette...

Fed Up American 2009
- Dr. Stephen Covey
Okay, we’re in a new year now.
We been hearing from a lot of people, talking about “change” and “hope.” Well, I’m writing this article to tell you that the “goal setting” or “waiting for just the right moment” or the “woe is me, the economy sucks” or whatever your personal situation is, the honeymoon is over.
It’s time to take action. Its time to “own it.”
Don’t get me wrong, you can always keep them in your back pocket for a later point in time when you need them. But we are all in our individual holes, dealing with our own personal life issues whatever they may be and we all could stand some improvement. There are area’s we all need to “change.”
Keep your eye on the original inspiration. If they idea felt right when you started out. If the vision – if the dream – felt good and was exciting to you, if it motivated you to do something, if you felt the need for “change,” it is still right today.
That’s a fact.
Never lose sight of your vision because you hit a bump in the road or if things aren’t happening quick enough for you. Every great accomplishment – any great achievement – comes with some pains - some growing pains - some set backs. This is the price you have to pay. It needs to be paid. Success can come quickly but seldom does it happen overnight. Success always come with challenges, doubts and trials. Taking action on what works could be the “change” you need in your life.
Brainstorm with people. Lean on them for advice, a listening ear, emotional support, guidance, motivation – whatever – just never be a “lone wolf.” They ultimately die off. Deal with like-minded individuals by networking with people who can confirm that what you are experiencing is normal, expected and necessary.
“Change” will happen when you take immediate action. You need to live it, to eat, breathe and sleep it but most importantly, you need to share it with others.
So as we start 2009, let us “change” what needs to be carried out. It all starts within the individual first.
Change starts with me.
Change starts with you.
And change starts now.

Hannity's a Bitch
They hope to have 1,000,000 signatures on the petition by Inauguration Day and right now, they are quite a bit short of that goal.
Hannity has been embarrassing himself regularly lately by promoting every conspiracy theory, no matter how far fetched, about Obama. Expect the pace to pick up as the Inauguration approaches -- and really take off afterward.
Conservatives are expected to oppose Obama, naturally. But only wingnuts will believe every bit of garbage thrown at him and spin it into a massive belief system about the looming oppression of a socialist state, yadda yadda yadda.....

A Christmas Epiphany
On this Christmas morn, I sit at the desk in my quite room, listening to the rhythmic snores of my loved one, I had a moment to reflect on the ghosts that visited Scrooge in the classic story, and I got to thinking about my past, my present and my things to come.
That's when I came to some stark realizations.
I always thought of myself as being white …… until I heard someone spit the words black, brown, yellow, red. And my anger reminded me that I am just one of many colors deserving of respect.
I once thought of myself as a Christian …… until I heard someone hurl an epithet at a Muslim, a Jew, a Buddhist, an atheist. And my outrage reminded me that my beliefs are meaningless if I do not endeavor to understand and defend the beliefs of others.
I once thought of myself as “straight” …… until I heard someone say that gays and lesbians are immoral outcasts. And my fury reminded me that if I deny the beauty of love’s diversity, I do not deserve to be loved.
I once thought of myself as an American …… until I heard someone say that I should stand behind my country, right or wrong. And my rage reminded me that if my country is wrong and I fail to try and make it right, I am avoiding my patriotic duty in my duty as a citizen of my nation, and of the world.
I once thought of myself as enlightened …… until I heard someone disparage the ignorant and uneducated. And my vitriol reminded me that if I don’t have the patience to understand the viewpoint of others, I have no right to voice my opinion and expect it to be heard, no less given weight.
I once thought of myself as free …… until I heard someone speak of the profits to be derived from enslavement. And my ire reminded me that as long as a single living soul lives in chains, my own freedom is tenuous at best.
I once thought of myself as somehow above it all …… until I heard someone speak of a fellow human being as beneath contempt. Because of where they were born, how much money they had, who their people were, who they loved, what they cared about, what dreams they dreamt, what hopes they held dear.
And my wrath reminded me that there is no one above me nor beneath me, there is only equality among us all.
Rage, anger, vitriol, ire, outrage, resentment, indignation, these are feelings that have their place, and can be used to change the course of human history for the better when applied wisely and well.
Listen for the sound of your prey.
Choose your target, and loose your arrows
Allow your eye to be focused and your aim will be true.
Do not be distracted by self-serving words, spoken with feigned eloquence by those who would try to change what you believe, and distort what you know in your heart to be the truth. The enemy is out there.
Don’t waste your time and efforts, nor your precious ammunition bringing down those who are your allies and friends.
Aim your anger at the real target.
The warmonger.
The torturer.
The bigot.
The hypocrite.
The greedy bureaucrat.
The corrupt politician.
Let your rage set him in your sights, let your outrage give him no refuge and let your strength of purpose afford him no means of escape.
As a new year unfolds, the whole world is listening.
I once thought of myself as someone that couldn’t be heard.
There really IS a Santa Claus. Merry Christmas.
Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote.
Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty.
Liberals ended segregation.
Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act.
Liberals created Medicare.
Liberals passed the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act.
What did the ignorant conservatives do?
They opposed them on every one of those things.
Every damn one!
So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, 'Liberal,' as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor.
